We had a great last month of official summer! We began with Elle’s birthday and finishing up our time in Cleveland. Then the girls and Mom headed to Phoenix for some time with the Stoloff’s. We enjoyed a few days at home before the school year began and ended with a nice trip out of town for Mom & Dad in honor of Jonathan’s 4oth birthday!
We had a very busy month of traveling! I think Mom & the girls were in Austin for 2 days. We started the month during our trip to Cape Cod and Maine. Came home and turned around for our trip to Cleveland which Dad joined at the end. We had a wonderful time seeing so much family and doing new things!
We had a very exciting month! Elle finished her first year of school and is a Kinder graduate! We enjoyed a couple weeks of camp and exploring more of Austin. We also began our first trip of the summer, with the Polland Family to Mashpee (to see where Uncle Hal lives) and the fun will continue next month.
We began the month finishing our visit with Grammy & Grandpa and enjoying our month in Austin. We took a wonderful family trip to San Antonio to enjoy the Mother’s Day weekend. We got to see Grandma & Gramps too. Elle is nearing the end of her Kindergarten year and Bree finished her first semester of preschool at the JCC. We ended the month on a very high note with a visit from the Stoloff’s who we hadn’t seen since before the pandemic began!
We had a nice month of just going to school and spending time at home. But the best part of the month was getting to see all our Grandparents!
Marking our year anniversary of living with Covid we enjoyed two different Spring Breaks, Passover, school and some great times at home.
February started out as a regular month with school for both girls but a freak Texas snow storm sure threw everything out of whack!! After we lost power and schools started getting cancelled for a week, we decided to escape to Houston where Grandma & Gramps have a generator. So we had heat and food but no water. It was definitely a crazy experience for Mom who grew up with real winter snow storms but here’s hoping Texas learned their lessons and will be prepared next year!
Luckily we rebounded fast and ended the month with Purim and some time out and about getting to be with friends!
Started 2021 off with a lot of time at home and exploring what we can of Austin outside, the weather was all over the map this month! Most importantly, Bree had her first day of Preschool at the JCC in the Penguin room. She had a rough first couple days getting used to leaving but it didn’t even take a week for her to be running out the door barely having the time to say goodbye!
Like everyone else, we aren’t that sad to see the 2020 year end but we enjoyed our month filled with Hanukkah activities and a whole lot of treats.
We began the month celebrating Bree’s 3rd birthday. It was a really great celebration with all her grandparents and Uncle B. We had lots of fun getting to see Uncle Hal and enjoyed Thanksgiving in Houston. It was a fun family filled month!
